Does an employee have another day off?

Hi everyone,
If an employee is contracted to 4 days per week and it states in the contract that these days can be worked any days Monday to Friday, what happens regarding bank holidays? This employee usually take a Friday as her rest day, but has asked if she can have another day off next week instead and be paid for the bank holiday (we are closed on Good Friday. There is nothing regarding Bank holidays in the contract.
