I have twice contacted Gvnt Depts to investigate issues of financial impropriety. On both occassions the issue has been totally delegated to a p/t staff member. The result- a succession of always crossing telephone messages when neither of us can catch the other in and a delay of 14 weeks.
Would it have been quicker if a full time member of staff had done it or at least backed up the p/timer – you betcha.

So this raises another question, can the employer discriminate and not offer the p/timer certain kinds of work on that basis???
