I have been approached over the last couple of days by several members of our workforce querying whether they will receive an additional days pay (or annual leave) as it is a leap year this year?
They seem to be of the opinion that as they are working an extra day, they should be paid for it (which is fair enough) but I wasnt sure what other organisations were doing with regards this situation?
Please could anyone give me their thoughts on this and the approach they would recommend that I should take with it.
