We have had an R&R program for almost three years and are now in the process of making some changes (constant improvement)to ensure it remains viable and value added.

One of the areas we are looking at is our annual gala event. In the past we have had a dinner and dance with team and service awards presented. We have done this in January/February time as a way to break up the winter (they can be long in Canada!).

We are thinking about changing the venue and possibly the time of year. We typically get about 200 attendees.

I would like to know if anyone else holds an event of this size and what kind of event they hold. We are planning for next year’s event so time is not an issue right now.
