Hi,
Company I work for have a handbook where it states that falsification of telemarketing records will lead to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. However we dont have a specific process for dealing with this.
On a Quality control, We found a permenant Employee with us 4 years to be putting sales through without ringing the customer. Was able to do so as it was a free subscription.

My boss wants to fire him but I dont think we have the right to do this.
I have advised a written warning , the employee has a written warning but this was in relation to a supervisory role he was in . He was demoted due to the written warning,
He has never recieved any warning in relation to false records before.

Do we need a process approved on this or can he be fired?
Appreciate any replies….
Dave
