My 15 yr old daughter’s first job is to wash up in a restauranr. She has been given no contract, she gets rung up and asked to come in, and last Saturday a mistake in a customer bill was rectified by the owner taking the defecit from the pooled tips, of which she should have received her share.
Is this legal?
