A company employing over 100 people has placed it’s only Health and Safety and QA Manager at risk for redundancy. If this is confirmed the Company will possess no competent persons to conduct this role. It is likely that this role will be passed onto another member of staff from a different function. Is this legal from either a HR or H&S perspective? Grateful for assistance.
