rk for an electrical company who are taking an electrician through disciplinary for falsifying timesheets, the timesheets are submitted daily by the engineers using a pda system an once submitted can’t be amended by them, however the office staff can and have amended times for different reasons. if the company can’t prove the times haven’t been amended then is this reasonable evidence?
the company are also using the vehicle tracker as evidence to back up as the destination times don’t match the timesheets, however the vehicle tracker continually gets the destination addresses wrong! could the engineer argue they don’t have accurate evidence?? other CO workers are also writing statements to say they have had the same problems whereby the pda systems logs the wrong times and the vehicle tracker shows the wrong destination.
does the engineer have a strong case to argue the accuracy of their evidence?
