This is an extension to a previous post, my mum was on long term sick, got told by the doctor she was well enough to return to work. my mum told work she was going back, than got told someone else had basically been given her job and the owner didn’t want her back. My mum than received a letter from an HR person / solicitor who has requested mums medical records before seeing if she can go back to work, the owner has a letter from the doctor and the hr person / solicitor has a copy of the letter. My mum is still employed by this company and has been told by the doctor she is well enough to go back to work, shouldn’t she be getting paid while they are evaluating if she can return to work as basically she has no money coming in as her benefits are gonna be stopped the day before she is due to return to work. She is also not entitled to any other kinds of benefits as she is still officially employed although not receiving any money.
