I have a member of staff who has refused to enter into consultation until she considers herself fit enough (anxiety). I’ve subsequently offered telephone, post and representative based consultation and got no response, so wrote to her to start post consultation.
I am now about to receive a greivance against contacting her whilst off sick, and against post consultation. She is back at work and we have now started face to face. Do I have to hear the greivance? I am tempted to say that if she has a problem with the process, (and if she is indeed made redundant) then this is best dealt with under an appeal?
I suspect all delaying tactics are being put into place.
Any thoughts?
