This quote is from our Staff Handbook, does anyone know if this is worded correctly, It seems very open ended, how many hours would be neccessary for me to properly perform my duties. Does anyone else have similar quotes in their staff handbooks.

Hours of Work and Attendance

Your basic hours are specified in your offer letter. Your daily hours of attendance are those discussed and agreed with your Manager, or as specified in your offer letter. However, you are required to work such hours as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties.
