A male employee joined the company on 01/05/04. He handed in his notice around 27/07/04 .During his notice period we had a problem with his attendance. He was constantly sick and did not turn up for work.

He walked out one day after a spell of absence and has since written to say he experienced verbal abuse and sexual discrimination from the head chef dus to the fact that he is gay. He never mentioned any of this during his employment. How do I proceed?

Can he claim sexual discrimination?
