A recruiter friend of mine who was made redundant has decided she’d like a contract/daily position for a while, but neither she nor I know how she’d go about finding work quickly. Do any of you use independents in this way? I can see the benefit to them, I’ve worked at large companies who have used these services to supplement recruitment days, but I had no idea where they got them from. Do contract recruiters use agencies or send out their details on spec to organisations directly? If its the former, do any of you have any companies you can point us in the direction of please?
