Comments I would like to know in relation to holiday pay, how to work out
my entitlement. I have spent many hours mulling over the DTI’s formula and
it doesn’t make clear the position i am in. I currently work on on what is
termed a zero hours contract, however i work any number of hours up to 80
per week. This is not compulsory but does leave me with the headache of
deciding what is meant by my weeks work. Should i work it out by dividing it
by 12 and on what grounds or by accepting that a normal working week for a
full time employee is 39h. I am aware of many others who are in thi
sposition. please could you advise.
