I am looking for some advice and views re: HR/Personnel Software:

1. In your opinion/experience is it better to purchase a ‘package’ or tailor a company specific database?

2. Has anyone used Personnel Manager from Vizual.co.uk?

3. Is it advisable to have one massive database containing all employee information or keep records such as absence and holidays separate?
