Next month we are addressing a number of companies and representatives of Inward Investment Agencies in several cities across the USA and Canada.
The common theme will be advice, support and assistance during preparation for and launch of a UK operation. In most cases the companies concerned will have no previous business exposure outside of their domestic market.
By definition, the companies concerned are relatively small, and UK subsidiaries are likely to employ from 1 to 30 people – over time.
I’d be interested to know what this community feel our audience ought to know – tips and pitfalls, dos and donts, etc.
My primary interest is recruitment related matters, but I would like to broaden the discussion to all people realated issues.
I am more than happy to attribute any comments/thoughts properly and correctly.
