Employee holds 51 weeks of continuous service, at one point employee resigns due to a reprimand from their manager in front of other employees.  Employee in question resigns the following day (CD) – is he eligible to bring a claim to ET ? I am assessing this by way of statutory remedies and not common law. Would it be permissable that statutory notice is applicable as stated in s86 which would extend the EDT (ERA s97(2)) ?
