I was just wondering if my company should be doing this, I recently applied for an internal position within the company that I work, however my application was rejected. When I enquired why, looking for development points, I was told that they had looked at the notes they had made the last time I applied for a position in this area of the business & did not believe that based on my CV that I had filled the gaps from the last time I had applied, also when my rejection letter came to my the position had been changed to a position 2 grades higher than the job advertised.First of all can they change the job without notifiy people that have applied & secondly should they be making decisions based on notes taken at a previous interview.
Any thoughts would be welcomed
