One of my employees was recently dismissed on the grounds of bullying and harassment (September). No internal appeal was made. The Job Centre recently sent me a form to complete with regard to his request for Job Seeker’s allowance. I completed it honestly stating that he had been dismissed. They have now sent me another form asking for lots of details about the dismissal – e.g. did he accept the penalty etc.. am I legally obliged to respond to this – I feel I am breaking some confidences by passing on this information…?
