Despite the increasing number of organisations offering some form of flexible working a lot of people still seem to be putting in far more than their contracted hours. Is this a problem or should we be glad that people love their work so much that they are willing to do lots of unpaid overtime?

I’m researching a book and seminar on long working hours in the UK, and the negative effects on indiviuals, organisations and society as a whole. If you have thoughts on this topic I’d be glad to hear from you.

Many thanks
