Long Term sickness and Holiday Entitlement

Following the recent EAT, does anyone have an up to date policy on people who are on long term sick leave not accruing annual leave.

I can’t seem to find any clear guidelines – i.e. does the employee have to be off for longer than say 6 months or 12 months?

Any help would be most appreciated.
