Hi,

I have an employee who has been off with depression since February. The reason for her depression is that her parents moved out to Spain and this has had an adverse affect on her. Her GP has advised her to go and spend time with them in Spain, therefore she spends the majority of each month in Spain and returns to the UK for a couple of days at a time to get signed off again and pick up her medication. We have arranged for our Occupational Health provider to do a telephone assessment, but she has been uncontactable. We have received a signed AMRA form for her and are now awaiting her GP’s report.

Does anyone have any advice as to what the next steps should be? I am keen to resolve this one asap.

I look forward to your responses soon.

Kind regards,
Marcia
