We are designing a couple of workshops to train Line Managers on how to write and deliver appraisals. We already have our own bespoke appraisal forms, that contain guidance on relevant content, but would like to provide them with a basic set of top tips to ensure that the quality of the outputs is high.
Topics may include:
- How to write relevant, insightful and constructive Self Appraisals, Appraisals, and 360 Feedback;
- How to recognise the most relevant 360 Feedback comments, and reflect them in appraisals;
- How to deliver a fair, insightful and constructive appraisal conversation;
- How to make praise really powerful;
- How to deal with challenging situations during appraisal conversations;
- How to discuss future targets, development needs, individual potential and possible career paths effectively and constructively.
