Firstly, In terms of the Additional maternity leave, I know that you don’t get the contractual right to holiday. Do you still get the statutory right to four week’s annual paid leave?

Secondly, are you supposed to have renumeration for bank holidays in ordinary maternity leave? This is in our policy but I’m not sure it is correct:
If a bank holiday falls in the 26 week ordinary maternity leave period then, subject to qualification, you will be in receipt of statutory maternity pay only, as rights to remuneration are excluded. Therefore there is no entitlement to full pay on that day.

If the bank or public holiday falls in the period of additional maternity leave, there is no statutory right to remuneration in this period and this includes pay for bank holidays.

I would appreciate any advice regarding this.
