Apologies if I’ve already posted this, I’m new to the HRZone. Can a company make you work your month’s notice, legally? What would happen if you were just not to turn up for the last 4 weeks? And, if you had been made redundant and were expecting a nice lump sum on leaving, would they be able to take any money out of it if you didn’t turn up at all during your notice period?
