We have just had one of our hourly padi members of staff hand in their notice yesterday. In their contract it says that 1 month notice is required. How does this relate to pay? Obviously he only got paid for the hours he worked and it is now coming up to the christmas period and he would not be working until the new year. Do we have to pay him anything? Also does the notice period stop him from working with anyone else?
