After the insertion of a new CEO with his own ideas, and opinions of staff we are all feeling the strain. One redundancy so far put down to restructure, however, it was the face that didn’t fit. Now he is to give all of us objectives that we must reach. I have never had a contract, (employed for just over 3 years)I started with the firm as a p.a. to the CEO. My duties now range from salaries, bookeeping, office manager to chief pot washer. Do I have any rights if I decide not to accept the objectives? Unfortunately I am one of the ones whose face doesn’t fit. I expect the objectives I am set to be unrealistic and therefore as I don’t meet them I will be fired. I haven’s seen them yet. Is there any hope for me?
