I have 2 members of staff who job share. They both work 2.5 days per week ie first works Monday through to Wednesday lunch time with the second working Wednesday lunch time through to Friday.
We are reviewing our contracts at the moment and they currently receive half the annual leave entitlement plus any stats that fall on their normal working days.
I have read the DTI guidelines and they recommend giving a pro ratad entitlement to bank holidays.
If we applied this approach the part timer who works the beginning of the week would be disadvantaged as she would need to us more of her entitlement for bank holidays as the one who works the second half of the week.
Does anyone else have a similar situation and a solution?
