Whilst applying for jobs in Dubai through various recruitment agents I am being asked to pay a fee (c.US$80) for processing my CV and reformatting to a certain style. Is this the norm in other territories, is it legal/ethical or are there regulations on this practice? A number of the agents are UK based.
