Working in a target based retail environment – it is extremely difficult to get rid of poor performers.You have to go through a process of accessing their behaviour to suit rather than looking at the bottom line(following the HR guidlines).In total it takes upto a Year to get rid of an under achiever -does any one else fall in the same boat?
