I have just found out that a recruitment consultant who has just placed a candidate with us has approached the recruiting manager with a job vacancy. I am very annoyed about this and view it as a breach of our relationship and professional trust. Am I over-reacting, is this something that we should expect and tolerate? I am very tempted to get in touch with this agent’s boss and raise merry hell. What would you do?
