I would be very interested to hear how you deal with application forms and the process you use to get these to the short listing panel.  In particular does anyone use an online process and if so what and does it work!  We have managers who work regionally and therefore we photocopy forms and send them in post.  This obviously involves a lot of copying, paper, postage, etc which could save a lot of money if an alternative was found!

Management not keen on sending via email due to data protection!  Plus – no doubt – short listing panel would print out thereby defeating the object of trying to save money.
