Dear colleague

I have a long-term sick member of staff whose role has now been divided up between the other staff members due to the length of absence. The situation is being addressed through a capability procedure. At what stage would the post be considered ‘redundant’ as the function as changed and is therefore no longer required. We are a small company with tight financial constraints.Your suggestions are most welcome.
