We are restructuring part of our organisation and have identified a number of at-risk posts.

In order to minimise the eventual impact on our employed staff we are initially reducing the number of agency staff.

One of these individuals has been here for almost five years, which I am aware affords him certain rights similar to those of our directly employed staff.

What I cannot ascertain though is whether or not this individual will be entitled to any form of redundancy.

I am informed that case law exists… but I’m damned if I can track it down!
