I am told that my company is considering making my role redundant. I know they are following the proper consultation procedure, however, they also told me they will pay the Government set redundancy (£270 per year of service).
My salary is considerably more than that and I was hoping to get at least 1 week’s salary per year of service. Two colleagues of mine that were made redundant over 18 months ago (and had joint the company roughly the same time as me), each received 1 month’s salary / year of service redundancy.

I want to know whether (as precedence has been set) I can also claim the same redundancy terms.
