Hello out there,
My boss (the MD) has asked me to update our salary banding structure, as we have had quite a few new positions added to it and it has not been updated in a while (my company is not very good at admin at all!).
He also asked me to “do a salary survey” on all the jobs on our band structure to find out how we pay compared to the market out there.
Does anybody have any ideas how I could go about here? Unfortunately my boss does not want to spend any money, i.e. does not want a consultancy etc. involved and claims this has been done in the past (before my time) without spending money.
We are a manufacturing company in the West Midlands with 59 employees and ca. 25 Job Specifications.
I would be very grateful for any kind of advice!
