As part of my masters degree, we are analysing the degree to which strategic management is applied IN PRACTICE in the people area. I am working in the public sector and the adoption of SHRM is not at the same extent as in the private sector, where SHRM has first emerged. We are faced by strong influence of the different stakeholders, and money constraint is another matter. I would like to hear some real experiences, about the extent SHRM is appliacable in practice in different sectors and difficuties faced.
