Can somebody tell me what an employee is entitled to when he is allowed to work on a day he is signed off by his GP. The employee in question was signed off from doing his regular job due to health and safety but was allowed to be a representative in disciplinary meeting. If the employee was not signed off, we would class the hours as a representative, as normal hours and he would be paid accordingly. However, because he was signed off, payroll has paid him statutory sick pay and he is now querying the anommally. As well as this, he was required to work over his normal quota of hours on one of the days and payroll paid him overtim for this.

Thank you
