My partner has recently been told to stike by the union they are a member of.
However the council my parnter works for has instructed employees that they will lose pay for the duration of the strike action (2 days) as well as a full year of pension contribution if any employee participates in the strike.
The alternative of taking holidays has been given by the employer.
Is this legal?
