I am currently in the process of investigating undergraduate student part time job satisfaction in retail environments as part of my undergraduate dissertation.

Is there anyone out there who has any experience of dealing with student workers?

Do they think they tend to show less commitment than full time workers?

Do they make tend not accept or offer to do extra work than what they are contracted to do?

Finally, does anyone make use of a particular work model, in terms of hours of work offered, in order to attract and maintain student workers in part time positions?

I know there is an awful lot of text there, however if anyone can offer any insights or opinions I would grately appreciate this.
