We have an employee who has already taken 1 week’s leave to study for an exam. It seems this was not booked as holiday but neither was it booked in advance as study leave. The training course was approved and paid for by the company but we do not have a policy in place in regard to study leave. I have been asked to comment/advise on acceptable practice in regard to study leave. Can anyone please advise?
