Can someone please explain what rights I would have as I have worked for a company for 3/4 months and am effectively being made redundant because the company I was working for has been acquired and the Finance section is in another country.
They have terminated my employment and not gone through the proper redundancy consultative process and asked me to work my 3 month notice period – Is this correct and have I any comeback?
I also understand I can’t claim unfair dismissal due to my short time with the company.
The letter I even received from this new company after my meeting with HR was not even on headed paper and had no mention of the company anywhere – a bit shoddy I know.

Any help anyone could give me in my stressed state would be very much appreciated.
