I have been at a company for 6 months. I have been given no contract and have no letter of employment.
I was on a months trial and this was agreed before i started. 2 months into the role i was off sick for 2 days and had the money deducted from my salary. when i questioned this i was told the i am on a further probation period and within the time any off sick and days off will be deducted.
Is this correct? can someone do this? I always thought there were laws to prtect the employee?
could someone advise me as to where i stand in term if employment rights
