Can someone help me with the following:
A Member of staff has been given an Emailed Written warning, for listening to the radio via the internet to which her senior manager was coppied in. Other people in this office have been doing the same and listening to CD’s and Radio via the internet. Although her work doesn’t seem to have suffered and she is the only one with a written warning.

There were no counciling sessions before, and her manager who sent the email is not in today. She is obviously very upset and angry as she feels as a junior member of the team she is the only one who was punished, and their was no right to appeal set out in said email.

Is this right?
And what can she do about it now?
