What is Fire Safety Training?

I am aware that we need to provide our team members with fire safety training. But what exactly should this include?

There are a lot of training providers willing to give training but I suspect that much of it is unnecessary and over priced. I was thinking of doing a training sheet in house, to include a short questionnaire/test paper.

I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what the law states?
