My company wants to buy back leave.
I work 12 hour shifts – 4 on 4 off.
I am paid for 10.7 hours of each shift or workday.
However,when the company buys back leave they have paid me at a rate of 7.5 hours per leave day – which is a 9-5 workers contracted hours.
Is there any explanation anywhere to tell my employer that my leave day is
10.7 hours not 7.5 hours and to pay me accordingly ?
