Hi,
I have been asked to post this by a friend. An employee rasied a grievance for bullying which included an allegation that a fellow employee physically attacked them in the workplace. The complainant is adament the event took place, the alledged attaker denies this took place, there is no independant witness. Upon investgation no evidence could be found to substantiate the complainants grievnace.
The employee has now recieved a letter from the alledged attacker, suing them for libel.
Can someone sue for libel for the contents of a grievance letter/investigation?
