This is to deliver training on a new HR system we are introducing. This is a big project and I have been seconded to it from Dec 01 to Apr 04. There is nothing in my contract about having to travel with my job or work away from home, although I have done this at times and had no problems with it.

Outside of work I foster young people and this means that there are times that I am unable to stay away from home and work are aware of this (it would be no diferent if I had my own children). I am being asked to go and work away from home for a month, at a time when I am fostering and have been told that if I cannot do this, then I will have to leave the Project I have been seconded to. My old job does not exist anymore and I have been given no idea as yet as to what job I will be doing if I go back to my old department.

Any advice?
