Hi, we work in social care and our nightworkers are entitled to “regular” health assessments under Article 9 of the Working Time Directive, but can anyone advise if “regular” should be annual, every 2 years/ 6 months etc.

Also the Directive states that the “free health assessment” may be “conducted within the national health system” – does this mean we don’t have to pay for the assessment, or ask them to visit their own doctor – in which case, do we have to pay a charge etc?
