Matthew joined Hootsuite earlier this year, and leads the company’s global people team with a strategic business focus on growing Hootsuite’s exceptional culture.

Matthew has over 20 years’ experience working in Human Resources at FGL Sports Ltd, WestJet, Crystal Decisions and Nortel Networks. Most recently, prior to joining Hootsuite, Matthew was Chief People Officer at Coast Capital Savings.

In his free time Matthew is an Executive Chair of ‘The Power of Sports for Kids’, a community giving organisation for at-risk youths across Canada. He is also a volunteer hockey coach.
